Where Recovery Begins
Tallgrass campus provides a 30-day residential recovery program for the treatment of alcoholism and drug addiction. Our 14 bed facility concentrates on the immersion into the 12-steps. Guests participate in a rigorous meeting schedule throughout the week and attend outside community meetings, which allows for further connection with the Sioux Falls recovery community.
Nestled on the rural edge of Sioux Falls, SD, Tallgrass campus provides a beautiful and serene setting for navigating early sobriety. The 10 acre property has been developed specifically to provide an unmatched restorative environment.
Tallgrass Recovery curriculum is supported by over a 150 volunteers who share their experience, strength and hope in an effort to project relational familiarity. The volunteer team supplies over 3,000 hours of service a year.
The Tallgrass staff, join in the process by walking a path in their own recovery from drugs and alcohol. We feel this common ground is extremely beneficial to the guests in bridging the gap between knowledge and practical application of living a life in sobriety.
Tallgrass has served over 1200 individuals to date. Our alumni tell us that it is the connection to other alcoholics and addicts and the exposure to the wider recovery community that made their time here most rewarding.
