Throughout the day, our guests experience a steady immersion into the message and development of the spiritual tools needed for recovery. The daily schedule at Tallgrass is structured to provide ample time for reflection and personal conversation with staff and mentors assigned to assist them. The Tallgrass staff is available at any time to discuss personal issues and situations confidentially.

The purpose of our curriculum at Tallgrass is to show precisely how millions of people are recovering from the disease of addiction.

Our daily schedule includes:
7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Continental Breakfast
8:15 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Morning meditation and reflection
8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Personal time with individually assigned chore
9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Mid-morning 12×12 meeting staff or group
10:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Staff or volunteer topic meeting
12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Lunch and personal time
1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Text of Alcoholics Anonymous study group-presenter
3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Selected topic meeting-staff or group
5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Dinner and relaxation
7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. AA meetings – on and off site
9:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Daily inventory and review 10 @ 10
10:00 p.m. to Midnight is quiet time with lights out at midnight

All guests are required to actively participate in all scheduled meetings and curriculum. All guests are required to actively participate in their own recovery.

This effort, and the road leading to recovery, will require honesty, open-mindedness and willingness. The staff at Tallgrass will be there to assist with all aspects of your recovery experience.

Weekend schedules vary slightly and accommodate approved visitation by friends and family on Saturday and Sunday, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Call for further information.
